I’m baaaa- aack!

by Sunny on December 10, 2009 · 3 comments

I haven’t been around, on a personal level, for a very long time. I have a post I am working on to share about that, but for now suffice it to say that I have been through a serious illness as well as a spiritual journey for the last couple of months. Now I’m through to the other side on both and plan to be back here to chat with you lots more! Thank you to everyone who was praying!

I think my biggest disappointment was that I never entered ONCE for this Writing Challenge quarter. Not even once! Sigh. I broke my streak of having at least one story in each of the books too. And I really loved the topics… all the colors. Oh well.

I am organizing my book review stuff. I have so many to review now. It’s exciting but I feel bad that I got behind while i was so sick. I put them all in a spreadsheet and hopefully will not miss any deadlines again! And if you won one of my drawing and didn;t recieve the book.. I still have it and will send it out directly! SO SORRY!

I didn’t get to read any Faithwriter challenge stories this quarter and no way can I go back and read them all now… but if you post a link to one of your stories here… or to one you think I should read… I’ll be sure to go check it out! I would love that!

Friday Fiction – A Father’s Love

by SunnyApril 24, 2009

A Father’s Love
I placed my foot in the stirrup and leapt onto the back of my steed. I barely slipped my other foot into the far stirrup when Gwendolyn, my hot- blooded Thoroughbred,  reared up and then flung herself forward in a dead run. Farm workers scattered as we galloped through the yard and toward [...]
