Newsy stuff… including update on my novel!

Wanted to give everyone a heads-up! I am creating a new blog that will replace this one. I will be able to move everything to it but it has a new address, so if you subscribe to this one… please be sure to subscribe to that one when its ready. Just waiting for some techie help from my husband.

On another note. Homeschooling has become a hairpulling event so.. I am doing a bit of an experiment for the next few weeks. Trying some new stuff before the Homeschooling conference at the end of the month. Today I printed off some worksheets form the internet. Its harder stuff and yet more interesting just cause it;s something different. They watched some Moody Science DVDs too. I ordered some Sonlight books from the library and some other dvds… and I am going to borrow Konos book from a friend.

Like I said… experimenting. We’ll see what works better, and what intrigues them.

On another note… I FINISHED the first three chapters of my novel. The whole thing is written but has lots of holes and weak areas. The first three chapters are DONE… at least until I send them to Jan to edit for me ;-) I have run into one problem though. A weak spot in my main storyline that isn’t coming together logistically. Argh! May have to do some revamping somehow. Darn.

For those who are wondering.. it is a romantic suspense. Christian, of course. I hope to FINISH it in the next couple of months!

I can’t wait to see the new blog! And experimenting with homeschool curriculum is a good thing! Almost everyone I know who has success in it finds a mixture of curriculum is what works…hope that works out for you, Shirley!
