I was really amazed by your great descriptions and verb choices. Excellent!! You placed the reader right there.
Only one question–did you intend for the POV to be omniscient? Sometimes it is better to separate it out rather than jumping from one head to the other in the same paragraph.
But I think you have the best command of verbs that anyone I’ve read:)
