Blog Award AND Giveaway…

by Sunny on December 12, 2009 · 8 comments

I received a blog award from Sherri Ward at A Candid Thought! Thank you Sherri! It my first award for this blog.

The rules of the award are to list seven of your favorite things and then to pass the award on to seven other creative bloggers.

My Favorite Things

… God! My life would be so… lifeless… with out Him. He is so loving, forgiving, patient, kind, firm, guiding, steady dependable, etc… and on and on…

… my kids and hubby. Wow. I can’t even imagine life without my kids. They give me such joy and reason to do my best for God. They need me to be all that I can be. And my hubby. I don’t always appreciate him like I should but I know that God put us together to learn to be a team that brings glory to Him. I love His determination to follow God!

… my support crew. Friends and family who encourage me, pray for me, prod me to obey God regardless of the cost!

… writing/reading. I really enjoy making the wisps of stories in my mind come out as people living lives on paper (or computer!) So glad we have so many great Christian writers today. We are so blessed!

… creation! I LOVE nature and the beauty God gave us to enjoy. I even love the TV shows about nature. Hikes through the forest or mountains just doesn’t compare to walking around the block in the city. Blah.

… animals, especially horses! I miss having my own. Sigh. One day, not too far off, I hope to enjoy them again!

… gifts! I am a gift person! I LOVE giving things that show I care and receiving gifts that show that someone really knows me and what I would love.

ok… 7 others! Not all of my favorite blogs by a long shot… but there ya go. (and Tim George.. I would have chosen yours but thought it might be a bit… girly?… for you ! LOL)

So when Adam Grogan gets caught trespassing on their land, he knows the murderous Speck men won’t listen to reason and let him walk away. Adam’s prepared to meet his maker, but things take a turn when Opal Speck declares he’s the father of her unborn child. Will Adam accept the slur to his name and marry the girl in order to save his life?
