Tomorrow is Zach’s birthday… he was born the day before mothers day.. my little gift.
I made him a true boy’s birthday cake. What do you think?
Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with chocolate graham cracker cookies smashed up and added to the bumpy chocolate frosting to look like dirt… pretty realistic if I do say so myself!
The bugs are plastic, don’t worry.. and the worms are the rubber fishing type!
Tomorrow is chocolate chip pancakes, then church, then zoo with cousins and Aunt and Uncle, then home for birthday party… busy day.
I went in their room tonight to put away some clothes, long after they had gone to bed. Braeden was still awake. He tossed and turned abit, then put his hands behing his head as he lay on his back.
“Mom I can’t get to sleep.” His voice was plaintive. “I am too excited.”
So cute… what is he going to do the night before HIS birthday???
