I am trying to improve my writing. These are beginner tips cause that’s where I am …LOL

Here is my latest learning tip:

Use adjectives and adverbs sparingly

The horse ran fast. (Running and fast give the same mental picture.. so you really don’t need fast)

Use stronger verbs and nouns

The horse galloped.


Use specific details

The horse’s hooves shook the ground as it galloped through the blowing grasses. His muscles rippled and bunched and his mane whipped the air like flames.

OK.. I know you can do better than me… give me some other examples of how to better word…
